Find Your Perfect Fit
Comfort starts with the right size. Use our guide to ensure your Holiday Feet travel socks feel like a second skin.
Performance Meets Comfort
Holiday Feet travel socks are designed to be snug but not tight. Choosing the right size helps ensure comfort during long periods of wear, whether you're on a flight, a train, or a road trip. Unlike regular socks, our travel socks provide gentle support that stays in place.
How they should feel
They should feel secure, not restrictive. The sock should hug your leg firmly without pinching behind the knee or digging in at the top. You shouldn't need to adjust them constantly—put them on, and forget they are there.
How to Measure
1. Shoe Size
Start with your standard shoe size. Our socks align with common UK, EU, and US sizing. This is usually the best indicator for the correct fit.
2. Calf Circumference
For a truly tailored feel, measure the widest part of your calf. Use a soft tape measure and keep it snug against the skin but not tight. Measuring in the morning often gives the most accurate baseline.
Size Chart
Use the chart below as a guide. If your shoe size and calf measurement put you in different categories, we generally recommend prioritizing the calf measurement for the best comfort experience.
| Size | UK Shoe Size | EU Shoe Size | US Shoe Size | Calf Circumference |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Small | 3 - 5 | 35 - 38 | 5 - 7 | 28cm - 34cm |
| Medium | 6 - 8 | 39 - 42 | 8 - 10 | 32cm - 38cm |
| Large | 9 - 11 | 43 - 46 | 11 - 13 | 36cm - 42cm |
| Extra Large | 12 - 14 | 47 - 49 | 14 - 16 | 40cm - 46cm |
Note: If you are between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more relaxed, comfortable fit, or sizing down if you prefer a closer, more supportive feel.
Common Questions
Will they feel tight at first?
They may feel different from your regular cotton socks. A gentle hug is normal and means they are working to support you. However, they should never be painful or difficult to put on.
Can I wear them all day?
Absolutely. Our socks are designed for extended wear. Whether you have a 14-hour flight or a full day of sightseeing, you can wear them comfortably from morning to night.
I have larger calves, should I size up?
Yes, if you have athletic or larger calves, we recommend choosing the size that corresponds to your calf measurement rather than just your shoe size. This ensures the top band sits comfortably without digging in.
